The light may work, but the data stopped.
Learning Track · Module 7: Failure library · Step 52 of 101
| Symptom | One node stops reporting. Neighbours report normally. |
|---|---|
| Cause | Node failure, socket contact problem, SIM or network issue, theft, or the luminaire has no power. |
| Check | Check if the light works at night. Check the node's last values before it stopped. Check the network status. |
| Fix | Reseat or replace the node. Record the new serial number and commission it. |
| Prevent | Use nodes with a status LED. Lock nodes where theft is a risk. |
Related across the playbook: When a controller stops reporting: No data is not the same as no light.
